Everyone agrees: home prices in Spain are dropping. But by how much in the main city, Madrid, where the demand is stronger? And, above all, will they keep falling in Madrid? TH, or Tasaciones Hipotecarias (Mortgage Appraisals), of BNP Paribas Real Estate, responds to the first question with an answer of 4.2%. Such a decrease has been produced in the last seven months.

The housing market of the Salamanca barrio of Madrid, one of the most exclusive and well-known of the capital, has two faces to it.  One of them is that of the majestic houses.  Many of them are like palaces, of an old mint, needing renovation, which are arguably the wealthiest in the entire world.  On the other hand, there are the numerous interior housing units. 

There is no shortage of things to do in Madrid, that’s for sure. The problem with going to Madrid on business is not finding things to do, but to choose carefully with limited time among the fantastic alternatives.
